When Professor Ting comes up with a formula that could resolve all hunger problems, it soon leads to a great deal of interest from others who would love to have it for themselves. On such an important mission, the crime fighting Kato is sent to protect the professor from coming to any harm. The professor’s daughter, Alice, is a good friend of Kato’s, and with his partner the Green Hornet injured, he is more than happy to help out.
As Kato arrives he sees that the professor and his daughter have been hustled into the back of a gangsters car. Due to his quick thinking and kung fu skills he is able to stop the attempted kidnapping. Angry at Kato’s meddling, the gang hire a sharpshooter to take him out. After a long chase through the crowded city streets, Kato stops the gunman on a carpark rooftop but before he can discover who sent him, the man accidentally falls to his death.
Sometime later, the gangsters manage to kidnap the unprotected professor to try and extract the information of his secret formula. When Alice arrives home to find her father missing, she rushes to find Kato and bursts into his room only to find him entertaining a girl he picked up at a bar.
Soon after taking the professor, he becomes very ill. The gangsters arrange for Alice to give them his medicine. Kato sees this as a prime opportunity to save the professor but before he can rescue him, he must also deal with a man called ‘Superman’ and his students who the gangsters have hired to fix Kato once and for all!
